Journal Mailings: This year will be the last year WDUG will mail out hard copies of the Journal. Starting in 2011, an email will be sent out to inform everyone that the WDUG website has been updated with new meeting agendas, locations and other information. So please make sure we have your current email address.
Elections were held at our December meeting. Congratulations to our 2010 WDUG officers. Resuming their roles are President Paul Kautza, Treasurer Debbie Kusko and Secretary Shelley Mizerak.
This year’s Special Event for DB2 on LUW is set for Wednesday, April 21st at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee. Roger Sanders, a Consultant Corporate Systems Engineer with EMC Corporation, will present “One Day LUW Cram Session for DB2 9.7”. Roger was a member of the team that developed the DB2 9.7 for LUW Database Administrator Certification Exam (Exam 541) and, aside from the practice exam that can be obtained for a fee from IBM's website, his training/slides is the only material that is currently available to help you prepare for the 541 Exam. Attendees will get 1/2 off on their next IBM Certification Exam. Look for more information on the blue Special Events flyer. Online registration will be available soon on the WDUG website.
